Built by a plant parent who got tired of killing plants.
I'm David, and I run an auto repair shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I'm also a plant parent — or at least, I try to be.
Albuquerque is brutal on plants. Low humidity, intense sun, hard water, and temperature swings from 95°F days to freezing nights. I kept buying plants, watching them struggle, and not knowing why. The plant ID apps I tried couldn't tell the difference between a Spanish lavender and a regular lavender. The care advice was generic. Nothing accounted for high-desert growing.
So I built Miracle Plant Repair.
It's not a gardening encyclopedia. It's a practical tool built by someone who actually has to keep plants alive in a tough climate. The database knows which plants work here and which don't. The watering schedules account for evaporation in dry air. The disease diagnosis includes pests common to the Southwest.
The app is free, has no ads, and doesn't track you. I'm not trying to build a business — I'm trying to keep my plants alive and help other plant parents do the same.
If you have a plant that's struggling, or you want to know if a species will actually survive your climate, give it a try. I'd love to hear how it works for you.
